Riverview Elementary School is located in Lakeside, California and serves Kindergarten through the 5th grades. We are very excited to announce that we have recently been named a California School of Distinction.

In order to address the needs of the "whole child," equal emphasis is placed on five areas of development: social, physical, emotional, intellectual and creative. We provide instructional opportunities through play, learning centers and using every opportunity that presents itself to encourage curiosity and help find answers to questions and solutions to problems.

Our School is located on the western edge of Lakeside, a semi-rural town of 52,000 inland from San-Diego, CA. Our school currently has 746 students enrolled in grades 6-8.

If you live outside Lakeview School’s geographic boundaries and you would like your child to attend Lakeview next year, you must complete either a School of Choice form or an Inter-District Permit.  These forms must be filled out every year and are available in the school office.  The deadline for turning in the School of Choice form is Monday, May 3, 2004.
